For the 1st time, in my life; I was told I had to see a Podiatrist due to my Diabetes. Most of my life I was a diet controlled diabetic and had 2 bad A1C's in over 25 years! I had a fall in 2010 which caused permanent nerve damage, and that along with neuropathy from the diabetes made walking something I dreaded. When COVID came around, things got worse for me because I got it; for THE WHOLE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2019!! I gave it to my adult children, and my grandbabies.... I felt horrible! Now, due to COVID; I have several residual affects AND am now on insulin. I used to live in Tucson, AZ. I had beautiful feet! I had a pedicure every 2 weeks, wore sandals, beautiful toe rings.....and these last few years I just want to hide my feet! Anyway, I was told I had to see a podiatrist and I was sent to Dr. Weaver. I didn't want to go, I was embarrassed by my feet. I didn't know what to expect when I went, but it CERTAINLY was NOT what happened!!! Every member of Dr. Weaver's staff, from Door to Room; were AMAZING! They put my mind at ease right away. Through every apology or negative comment I made regarding my feet, they came right back at me with nothing but Positive, Encouraging, and Uplifting responses. They gave me insight to certain things about my feet that I didn't understand, and 5 mins in I was COMFORTABLY asking questions and understanding more about the effects diabetes has had on my feet; AND that there is hope. Dr. Weaver got me into a pair of Ortho Feet shoes specifically made from a mold of my feet, and for the 1st time, now in over 30 years; I am able to walk pain free!! Of course, like any other person or shoe; I can't overdo it.... BUT, I never thought I would be able to walk pain free for 5 mins, much less 5 hours!! If you want to regain some quality of life, go see Dr. Weaver and his staff! Their Integrity, Pride, and Passion for making people walk as pain free as possible shows from the moment you enter their offices! I'll go nowhere else. Thank each and every one of you for helping me regain some quality of life and some much needed freedom. God Bless!
